Born in Berlin.<\/p>\n

Educated at the Lette Verein Berlin; beginning engagement with experimental photography.<\/p>\n

1981 study of biology at the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin with a focus on scientific photography.<\/p>\n

From 1986 works in the fields of theatre photography and illustration, as well as working for photo agencies.<\/p>\n

Axel Koschies<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in Kiel.<\/p>\n

1975 hospitations in the class of Harald Duwe at the Muthesius Academy of Art in Kiel as well as with the object artist Raffael Rheinsberg.<\/p>\n

1976 civilian service in a care home for people with physical and psychic disabilities.<\/p>\n

1977 studies in film and theatre (e.g. with Michael Klier), communications (e.g. with Gabriele and Helmut Nothhelfer) and Latin American literature at the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin.<\/p>\n

KOSCHIES <\/strong><\/p>\n

While studying, joint film projects at the university film department of the FU Berlin under Prof. Dr. Werner Dewitz.<\/p>\n

After graduation, co-operation on photography and video projects.<\/p>\n
